Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We inherited Acumatica from our predecessor and it wasn't being used to it's fullest potential. After we went through a learning process with our partner. We found it to be highly scalable intuitive and we cut our close book process within days as opposed to weeks and we can provide reliable accurate data for better strategic decisions to be made. A prove of our success is we turned around from a million dollar lost to a million dollar profit in less than 3 year years.

Pros

  • segmenting companies, departments and branches
  • efficient close books tools such as allocations and deferment

Cons

  • Approvals process and procedures to aid in evidence based controls based financial audits
  • it does need some learning but it is normal for an ERP and more complex software
  • improved business strategies
  • a million dollar loss to a more than a million dollar profit in less than 3 years
  • Better department based accountability
  • controlled operation costs
better data accuracy
We are software company, so the plugins and integrations has been very helpful.
