Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use Acumatica for our full business operations: inventory, operations, AP/AR, month end close
Pros
- Journal entries and ccorrections
- Entering an AP bill directly from a PO receipt
- Creating a journal entry from a template with mass data
Cons
- Easier use of creating a generic inquiry by users who are not experienced
- Reconciling goods received not invoiced for inventory at an audit time
- More detail of what user roles include or a description
- Has allowed for better storage of documents with attachments
- Has allowed for better tracking with audit trail and being able to assign tasks
We have not done anything with AI yet as we just upgraded from a 2022 version to a current 2025 version.
It has allowed us to provide better support or documentation, allow our internal users more access to data so they don't have to "hunt and peck" as much to get back answers. It has also allowed our internal users to see more history with an audit trail or with adding email attachments.
It helps us in both the subcontract and PO module. It helps us better track our inventory. It allows us to reclassify journal entries that were done incorrectly. It also allows an audit trail to connect with the proper parties if there are questions.
