Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We use Acumatica for construction projects, finance, inventory management. Acumatica helps with visibility, ease of accessing information. Clear reporting. We are still learning about the project management module.

Pros

  • Intuitive. Ease of use for all users
  • Integration between modules
  • The help function for tasks you haven’t used before
  • Flawless approvals

Cons

  • Inventory module is complex and a little hard to navigate
  • Inter branch transactions would be very helpful
  • Better reporting in construction module
  • Better information. We went from having no insights at all to having all the insights.
  • Having documents attached to entries was huge for us. We were able to go paperless in a society that will still using paper at the time.
  • Because of having info available we were able to have our GLs reconciled and found efficiencies we didn’t know we had.
  • The ability to export every screen has saved an incredible amount of time across all departments, especially in finance when analyzing data.
I haven’t used AI yet in Acumatica.
Timely billing. Our job billing is quite complicated and specific for each customer. Acumatica has made this process smooth and achievable.
We use Acumatica for our finance operations. We are in railway construction so we do use the construction and project management module, however we need to better utilize these modules.
No comparison. The intuitive nature of Acumatica is beyond any other software I have used.

I can see Acumatica being well suited for mid-large sized companies. Might be a bit much for a small company who may not get the use out of all the features. It is ideal for finance operations, construction, manufacturing and other similar businesses.
