Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

Prior to Acumatica, we were using an ERP that did not integrate with our Retail and Manufacturing WMS, e-commerce and other systems. Everything was uploaded manually and the use of excel was a routine work for all our team members. High inventory variances and multiple adjustments were normal for us and so everything was theoretical. Managers will not trust the data in the ERP. It's like operating in silos. That all changed when we implemented Acumatica. It's the single source of truth for us now. Customer service, accounting, shipping, manufacturing works efficiently in the system and are now more aligned with their objectives. Not only that the system helped the company grow and made our operations efficient but we can now make better strategic decisions and be more intentional with our goals knowing that we can trust what the data is showing us because it is real time. There is a lot more to do and I don't think the possibilities will end but I'd say with all the systems implementation that our business had done in the past, this is the easiest and one that brought us closer together.

Cons

  • We have a really great implementation partner with DSD. Though there are challenges, there's this trust because of the relationship.
  • Missing for us now will be how to implement phase 2
  • I think having a more integrated WMS that works for us.
  • We just launched last October so we have not yet calculated real impact but there is now visibility
We have not implemented the process manufacturing of the system but for the accounting and order management, the employees in those areas are very happy and made their work efficient.

We are a mid -large size business and I think we made the decision by going with Acumatica instead of Netsuite. It was great in a sense that we feel that we are more connected with the system and it understands us instead of drowning us with more functionalities that does not serve us yet. I say it's the perfect fit
