Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I create PDF from many different file formats and this has been very much useful to work with scanned copies too. It's a single tool to covert, manage and organize PDF versions of most of my documents.
I also make use of e-sign feature by integrating with Adobe e-sign, and this combo is a gamechanger!

Pros

  • I love how secure my documents stay with the high level secyrity system in Adobe Acrobat. Password protection and encryption systems help the most!
  • I also use the tool for contracts. Creating and sharing contracts for signing purposes.
  • Because I use a lot of these, it is easy for me to collaborate with other stakeholders on the same document published in Adobe Acrobat.

Cons

  • The comparison feature of Adobe Acrobat can be improved. Sometimes, the differences spotted are not accurate.
  • In terms of creating forms, the load time can be minimalised.
  • Though it supports multiple file formats, at times there are some glitches when getting converted to PDF files.
  • I have seen a very good improvement in terms of prodcutivity at work. Most of my job is done working with e-sign options online.
  • Password protection cuts down my expenses on working with a separate third party security application.
  • As a single tool it has the ability to support all the file formats, so it is cost-saving for me to just invest in Adobe Acrobat.
  • Scalability
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
I like how seamlessly it inetgrates with it's own line of product Adobe e-sign. It has also got many built-in features to enable less-expertised users to conveniently work with PDF conversions.
One of the built in features, converting PDFs to reports have saved a lot of time for us and escpecially has cut down the need to being analysts to build these reports.
I majorly use high level encryptions and the team that collaborates with the document also has defined access to the documents. It is also important to note that the redaction ability of the product saves our time in editing and working with sensitive information (which is also a part of a secure system).
The tools I have mentioned don't do much in terms of supporting different file formats. Also, they have a lot of features that are not usable in terms of working with docs. On a security standpoint, Adobe easily wins the rest of the products I have used because it does have a very good brand value and zero to minimal ads.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

It's best used when the company functions mostly with documents and needs a lot of collaboration. The whole security system and associated features help protect valueable information maintaing the confidentiality. It is not very appropriate for users who do not use many PDF files at their work. Also, for users who have a different file management system for signing and maintaining contracts, it might not be a great option to switch only to work with Adobe Acrobat's PDF version.
