Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
We use Adobe Acrobat to view documents, share content, and allow for comments. We change other document types to pdfs before publishing on our website to make them more easily viewable for all since Adobe has a free reader. We use it to combine multiple documents together or remove pages. We occasionally use it to redact or edit portions of a document.
Pros
- View documents
- Combine multiple documents together
- Allow for comments
Cons
- They could improve the time it takes to open large documents. Sometimes it is very slow.
- Lower the cost or offer more options in the free version.
- Offer a non-subscription based version. As a non-profit, subscription based software is cost prohibitive.
- Improves readability of linked documents on our website, therefore improving reader satisfaction
- Improves employee satisfaction by giving them the tools they need to edit
- Increases employee productivity by allowing them to combine and extract pages.
- Ease of Use
The single most important factor in my decision to purchase Adobe Acrobat was its ease of use. The tool allows me to create, edit, and share pdfs quickly without wasting time learning complicated software. Features like combining files and extracting pages are intuitive. They can be done in a few clicks. This has saved me time and frustration.
We don't frequently handle documents with content that is sensitive, but when we do, it is reassuring to know that Acrobat meets rigorous compliance standards that help reduce risk. I imagine that it improves trust with partners and our members to know that their sensitive information is being handled responsibly.
