Great program that implements user feedback
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
We use PDF to export documents for client review from InDesign, read client documents and prompts, and gather edits/feedback on drafts.
Pros
- Export or transform PDFs into other mediums, such as PowerPoint or Word
- Gather comments for feedback
- Resize/downsize files
Cons
- More customization around resizing files, such as choosing what images to resize and which ones should stay full quality
- Better editing features when needing to make small tweaks rather than reopening the file in the original document, making the edit and then having to report to PDF. It sometimes messes with the format or fonts when you try and edit
- Better comments/feedback features
- It has had a positive impact, and increases our ability to gather feedback on drafts which means we can churn through projects quicker
- We can easily transform PDF files into other types of documents, like PPT without having to spend hours rebuilding it all
- Scalability
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
Integrating with other systems, not just those within our ecosystem, but within our client's as well. We have the confidence to know that our final documents will look and feel the same regardless of what computer or device they are showing up on.
Our industry has been subject to recent hacks which have shut down the entire organization for days on end, causing lots of lost revenue and profound impacts on productivity. When files, programs, or documents are secure, we feel confident allowing all stakeholders to have access to documents without worrying about corruption when it passes between hands.
