Adobe Acrobat Review by a Creative
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
I use Adobe Acrobat in order to manipulate, sign and view PDF files or documents. Usually the documents are internal and the company has just about 1000 employees. This program allows a variety of employees to be able to view and add changes, comments or modify files with a standardized quality.
Pros
- Viewing documents
- Adding comments
Cons
- Possibly more simplified layout, an easier way to locate tools
- Standardized quality
- Efficiency improvements
- Cloud Solutions
- Scalability
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
Ease of use is important as it allows clients or employees that are not tech savvy to be able to work. Since we have a varied range of departments and levels of technical skills, Adobe Acrobat allows for non-professionals and professionals alike to use this program for whatever needs they have.
My organization trusts Adobe and their security measures. I don't have any personal experiences or thoughts regarding security and compliance standards of Adobe. However, my organization would not utilize this program if it could not assure the security of potentially sensitive documentation that may be handled by employees since we do cover a wide array of cases that may require security.
