Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I use Adobe Acrobat in order to manipulate, sign and view PDF files or documents. Usually the documents are internal and the company has just about 1000 employees. This program allows a variety of employees to be able to view and add changes, comments or modify files with a standardized quality.

Pros

  • Viewing documents
  • Adding comments

Cons

  • Possibly more simplified layout, an easier way to locate tools
  • Standardized quality
  • Efficiency improvements
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Scalability
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
Ease of use is important as it allows clients or employees that are not tech savvy to be able to work. Since we have a varied range of departments and levels of technical skills, Adobe Acrobat allows for non-professionals and professionals alike to use this program for whatever needs they have.
My organization trusts Adobe and their security measures. I don't have any personal experiences or thoughts regarding security and compliance standards of Adobe. However, my organization would not utilize this program if it could not assure the security of potentially sensitive documentation that may be handled by employees since we do cover a wide array of cases that may require security.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

It is well suited for files and adding to or modifying documents, whether it be splitting or extracting PDF files, adding comments and changes, or highlighting certain sections. I would say that it would not be appropriate for scenarios at work when it requires more encrypted or more secure authorizations.

Using Adobe Acrobat

  • Viewing PDFs
  • Editing
  • Commenting
My organization has been a longtime user of Adobe products and we utilize Adobe Acrobat daily among many divisions and employees. We use and will continue to utilize Adobe Acrobat for our document and PDF needs, whether it be for viewing or editing. I do not see our organization planning to not renew our usage.

Using Adobe Acrobat

ProsCons
Like to use
Relatively simple

  • Viewing and sharing
  • Editing and commenting
My organization has a wide range of employees with varying technical skills, and we use Adobe Acrobat across all divisions. We work with a lot of documents and PDFs, and to my knowledge Adobe Acrobat is the main program we use for handling transferring, viewing, editing, and sharing documents between divisions and their employees.
