Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

Adobe Acrobat is used to view and execute minor edits, occasionally for reviews and sharing for comments. But the organization tends to lean towards older world review techniques. for problems it typically allows me to complete any task I attempt, but find issues when multiple files are opened, and regularly receive an error code popup while using the program, though it does not crash.

Pros

  • viewing pdfs
  • reviewing pdfs
  • basic edits

Cons

  • stability (windows)
  • the commenting process, less tech savvy team members often leave comments on accident and do not delete or struggle to place their comments.
  • comments from large teams. at a previous organization we had to go through a very roundabout process to allow many participants to leave accurate comments on the PDFs. Though I am unsure of the process they used.
  • in general we use Adobe Acrobat at a relatively surface level. I am aware of its capabilities and functionality, but that has not been communicated and understood by the general user.
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
We need things to be consistent in our organization, starting a process in one app, and that not transferring to another can lead to the wrong file being picked up and used as an end product. Ease of use is important because we have many teammates that are not well educated on tech solutions.
Truthfully, they have not had any notable impact on me or my organization, though I value their existence, I was not aware of them until this point.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

general pdf viewing tasks as well as insuring that my designs are in a good and ready state and ready to be sent to the printer.

I find it less appropriate for editing, as the the changes will not be reflected in my indd creating a odd workflow and rendering the indd incomplete.
