Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
In our organization, I use Adobe Acrobat to create line sheets for potential customers. It is mostly composed of images and text. I also have to save them in the smallest size possible so it can be sent easily through email. Sometimes the pictures do lose a little quality but it is acceptable.
Pros
- Outputting files to different formats
- Easy to share
- Ease of use
- ability to reduce file size
Cons
- Adding high res images
- having high res images without losing quality
- in the footer add a version option. that will automatically add the date and if it can recognize how many times it was saved
- Improved security
- easy to track
- Ease of Use
For our organization, the single most important factor in our decision to purchase Adobe Acrobat is that Adobe Acrobat, in our experience, is Easy to use and easy for anyone to use. The ability to be able give this software to our colleagues and they can pick it up with just minimal instruction is amazing.
The impact that Adobe’s security and compliance standards have had on our organization is very simple. Our forms should only be seen by the people we email them to. So adding security like a password is a amazing feature. I would like it there to be a feature where only certain things can be redacted.
Adobe Acrobat stacks up way above Apple Preview. There is just no comparison. Adobe Acrobat is just way more robust and even though Adobe Acrobat has way more features I think it is far easier to use than Apple Preview. Apple Preview is seldom used in our company. Adobe Acrobat is the only software we use.

Using Adobe Acrobat
20 - The functions they represent are very vast. From entry level designers to the VP uses Adobe Acrobat. We are all required to learn the basics because it is such a essential part of our business. Even our outside vendors use Adobe Acrobat and with all the updates throughout the years I feel it will be a big part of our future.
10 - Everyone is required to support their own Adobe Acrobat projects. We are required to learn the basic skills to be able to use Adobe Acrobat. We have a great team, so we tend to learn from each other. We all have knowledge on how to use Adobe Acrobat but when we need some support we are able to contact anyone of our team members for any type of support.
- Security of our files
- easy to share
- file size
- we are able to make fashion linesheets in various sizes
- we can make catalogs with various types of media
- we are looking into doing digital signature approvals
Evaluating Adobe Acrobat and Competitors
I had to learn it in school, but a lot of my colleagues had to learn in via other colleagues. The only difference i would make is, I would make it simple videos of each one of the most used features. A example would be how to save it so it is smaller in size so it is easy to email.
