Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

Adobe Acrobat DC has made file sharing absolutely seamless. It has saved SO much time and stress being able to share and edit documents remotely to our offices in other states as easily as if it was being done by a single user on their own computer. Being able to edit PDFs right out of the cloud and plop them right back in there is the most useful advance in software that has been implemented in the entirety of my career.

Pros

  • Sharing files back and forth in the cloud is extremely easy.
  • Setting different limitations and privacy on documents between users has never been easier.
  • Editing PDFs and contributing to them isn't nearly as frustrating as it used to be. The editing tools are self-explanatory and easy to find.

Cons

  • I would like more options for individual add-on features.
  • There is literally nothing else that needs improvement in Adobe Acrobat DC.
  • We have saved money due to no longer needing to buy multiple licenses and programs to complete what Adobe Acrobat DC can do all inclusively.
  • The amount of stress and headaches we have avoided is invaluable because the software is already familiar and nobody on our team struggles with it.
  • We have also saved money by being able to customize add-ons rather than paying for features we don't use.
Using a product like Dropbox for Business, while totally functional, may not look and feel as familiar to some of the people on our team. Everyone we do business with is familiar with Acrobat, and it's simply more comfortable all around. Not to mention the features for PDFs make Acrobat a much better choice as well.
Adobe Acrobat DC is perfect for sharing pdfs remotely with employees who need to contribute to the document. If you have people with opposite schedules, or who are in different offices, this is perfect for signing and adding information/pages to the document. It wouldn't be as useful for screen sharing for remote presentations.
