Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

We primarily use Adobe Acrobat DC for creating, compiling, and editing PDF documents. The application offers a wide range of features that consistently come in handy, like the sanitize and redact features. The application stays open on my computer and I am constantly in and out if it building, exporting, compressing, or converting files to and from PDF. I do not know what I would do without it.
  • The redaction capabilities are remarkable. Once confirmed, the redacted data itself is amended to be untraceable to the recipient of the PDF.
  • The compilation feature is very user-friendly and filled with options to easily insert files (of varying types) into the document, remove sections of pages, and eventually save the compilation as a new single PDF document.
  • The sanitize tool is also really beneficial in removing hidden data or texts or digital footprints and metadata that we don’t often recognize is present.
  • Can be a little slow to open the program initially.
  • The direct editing tools that allow for text editing do not always get the font sizing or text box formatting exactly the same requiring additional time to make multiple adjustments to ensure consistency.
  • ROI: efficiency of doc management.
  • ROI: protection of the company’s digital assets.
  • ROI: ease of use across all user types because of UI.
Adobe Acrobat DC is and has been the leading software of this type. I am unaware of any other software like it exists and we don’t seek one out to try.
I have rarely had to use Adobe Acrobat customer service. There is plenty of online tools to utilize if I have any questions. Again, their plentiful tools and capabilities are easy to use within the application user interface. Should issues arise, I am able to quickly find help (via a video or article).

Adobe Acrobat DC is useful for all document management, tracking, proofing, reacting, sanitizing, etc. As the world becomes increasingly more paperless and more digital, Adobe Acrobat DC is the best program for a wide array of editing and protecting documents in the digital world. It's perfect for those who deal with contracts, forms, or compiling large, multi-page business documents.
