Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

I used it to create, edit, and markup PDF files for business and personal use.
  • Easy to use
  • industry standard
  • comprehensive PDF editing functionality
  • Some features are hidden within a lot of sub menus
  • Price point / yearly cost
  • could simplify some of the functions
  • editing pdf files
  • marking up pdf files
  • creating secure or locked pdf files
  • cost is a huge factor at $179 per year
  • It would be nice if there was a lite weight version or the option to reduce the system resources it uses.
Compliance is a huge factor in my industry and that's why I use Adobe DC because I can securely password protect my PDF files when sending them out to clients.
  • Foxit PDF Editor (FoxitPhantom)
There are some features that I like with Foxit, it takes fewer system resources to run but I feel like there is some functionality that is lacking. Adobe DC has the functions but it slows down the computer. So it's a trade-off. Also, Foxit has a lower price point which is always helpful.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe has a lot of power, but it also utilizes a lot of system resources. It would be nice if there was an option that didn't have to run in the background all the time. Adobe DC is a little slow when it comes to just viewing PDF files, therefore I have two programs installed.

Using Adobe Acrobat DC

We don't have many errors or issues with Adobe DC. Often if there is an issue a restart or an update fixes the issue.
