Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC
I use Adobe Acrobat DC to view, edit, and organize PDF documents. Typical use cases are signing legal documents, compiling PDFs to use as ebooks or downloadable content, and making interactive PDFs for the purposes of collecting info or sharing links. It's also useful for exporting PDFs into individual files for later use.
- Editing and organizing PDF pages
- Signing legal documents
- Exporting PDFs as individual page files
- No ability to add different signatures
- More robust file naming options when exporting
- Slightly clunky UI
- Exporting individual pages
- Compiling files into a single PDF
- Signing legal documents
- Saves me time when signing documents (vs printing and scanning)
- Allows me to creative interactive PDFs that generate sales
- Helps me create ebook content, which I can sell
Adobe Acrobat DC allows you to make a read-only PDF and add a certificate that shows it hasn't been tampered with since being saved, which is useful when sending legal documents. I no longer do freelance work, but it was definitely useful when sending agreements to clients who were liable to change their minds about things!
- Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe InDesign and Notion
Adobe Acrobat DC is great when I need in-depth editing tools for creating and organizing PDFs. It has some decent layout tools, but when I'm creating more complex content, InDesign is a better option. For creating simple PDFs, I prefer Notion, as the UI is better. For creating well-designed single-page PDFs, Photoshop is the best option.
