Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC
Basically used by a few departments. We chose Adobe and not other products because of the expertise and the reliable support you get along with the subscription. Use to open specific file extensions that other similar products cannot do it for now. Also used by the legal department for signing documents.
Pros
- Support various file extensions
- Signing documents
- Product have serious support
Cons
- Sometimes heavy to use
- More expensive than competitors
- Come as a subscription and not as a standalone version
- Signing documents
- Sending docuemnts to sign
- Multiple file extensions suppot
- Increased security on some operations
- Reduced time to manage licensing
We chose Adobe, especially for security. This is critical for our top executives to have a feeling of a reliable and well-trusted company in order to perform some secure transactions. We have a process in place for securing some of our documents and this works really well with what Adobe provides.
- Foxit PDF Editor (FoxitPhantom), PDF Xchange Viewer and Editor and Kofax Power PDF
For sure Adobe is one of the top products you can use but it is very pricey compared to other vendors. If it is not required by the company and you need basic functions such as comments or converting, then you can probably choose other vendors.
