Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is still loaded on all of our workstations here at the office; however, I feel it is going by the wayside. There are many other programs that offer many more tools, options, features, and value compared to that of Adobe Acrobat DC. If you are looking for a program to simply view a PDF and do nothing more, then yes, this program will do just fine. However, with the way the work world and technology have evolved, I feel that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has fallen behind.

It is very hard to compare Adobe Acrobat Reader DC with Bluebeam or Foxit Phantom. The functionality that those two allow compared to that of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC are night and day. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is simply that--a reader. It allows you to view files and that's it. Other programs allow for editing, viewing, creating, and many more features compared to that of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. It's almost like comparing apples to oranges.
