Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate

I used Adobe Captivate to develop and edit a course video using slides and voice over. It was used primarily by myself only. It addressed our problem of producing a professional course video by allowing us to record audio and then edit it to coordinate with the slides.
  • Adobe Captivate provided a useful tool to edit voice recording
  • Captivate allowed us to mute unwanted noise such as extra breathing and easily trim sound clips
  • Captivate allowed us to edit PPT slides through the application
  • The software itself was very buggy and crashed often, causing hours of work to be lost
  • Customer support for Captivate was unhelpful and often frustrating
  • It gave us a way to update our course and provide a better product
  • It was slow to work with and caused many problems, costing us valuable time.
  • None
I have not used any other products like Adobe Captivate
When properly functioning, Captivate is well suited for developing presentations and editing voice overs. It is less appropriate if you need a reliable platform that works quickly and consistently.
