Lots of upgrades in Captivate 2019. In terms of Video integration, it allows embedding of videos from Youtube, Vimeo and add video files from the system. adding knowledge check, bookmarks, info etc.. lets the user do a quick self-review and assessment of their elearning. If the user wants to understand the concept better, it takes the user to the relevant section at the specific timeline. Looking at Storyline, customizing and making interactive videos requires lots of manual work and video files can be imported only from your system and inserting videos from Youtube or Vimeo is quite challenging.

  In the latest additions, Captivate has added VR, rich immersive learning experiences,, creating multiple options for ensuring responsiveness, Geotagging, it has photoshop integration and other backward integration. with these capabilities, Captivate ranks better than other course authoring tools.
