Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Connect

Presently Adobe Connect is used both to support cross functional marketing efforts and as a training tool. It is not an enterprise based solutions at the present time.
  • Sharing applications, presentation and desktops in hi res.
  • Surveying the audience for real-time feedback.
  • Switching between presenters and sharing the admin role.
  • The VOIP function does not have the quality provided by an audio conference bridge.
  • Local bandwidth issues make connections difficult or result in lost connections. Connect uses a lot of bandwidth.
  • Sometime the recorded events are not readily available for replay.
  • Clearly audience participation and overall engagement is higher when using Connect as opposed to a audio only conference call.
  • While we don't presently use Connect for customer facing meetings, I'm hopeful that we will in the near future.
  • As a training tool we've seen an 18-20% increase in overall scores related to comprehension.
Compared with Sliverlight, Connect is easier, faster to connect and has fair fewer dropped connects. WebEx offers better recordings, but is more expensive.
Connect is extremely usefully when providing large organizations with prerecorded training modules.
