Private Aviation Industry Insider - [...]'s Adobe Express Review.
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Express
I work in marketing. When we are pressed for time and need to build a quick asset for a stakeholder, we often find Express is a good way to bridge the creative process while saving time, utilizing a template or pulling from our library to more quickly roll out the request. It is extremely helpful in increasing output with our smaller team while ensuring that we are building on brand and within our identity with the extra touch of creative liberty.
Pros
- Great at basing templates for flyers or invites.
- Easy-to-use library feature with brand assets.
- Good source for fresh ideas.
- Can help in sourcing a quick image to pair with a project with assets are limited.
Cons
- Without a lot of design knowledge, outputs can often look below par or unsuitable for rolling out to a stakeholder or in front of customers.
- Some of the features, when accustomed to working in Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop, make Express feel less intuitive to the creative process.
- If opened up to individuals outside of the approved marketing team, work can quickly fall outside of brand parameters.
- ROI - improved speed for deployment in smaller projects.
I think Express is a great tool for quick edits or creation. As someone who works in the more robust platforms, I do not always enjoy going into Express because of the more limited features.
