Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Express

We use Adobe Express to store and reuse the brand assets in one place, we also use it's AI to remove background add elements and generate art work quickly for our posters. From making posters to editing resumes, helping non designers with templates so that they can change things as they prefer without worrying about the design.

Pros

  • Generating abstract art work with specific color and style
  • Searching elements to drag and drop on a design and editing them on the go
  • Making templates that are easy to use for non designers in our team.

Cons

  • While selecting the AI model, there was a remove text written next to is that made me think that if I click on other AI model like nano banana, it will remove that model and that made me hesitant to click on any other model.
  • It looks similar to Canva, but the editing options are placed differently that made me confused, if it looked completely different then I would be likely in the state of trying to learn the placement and function of the app. But since it looked similar, my mind completely went into auto piolet mode and then I got confused for not finding the options I was looking for.
  • I wanted to try if there was an overlay option, to merge the image with the background color but I don't know if it's there or not. I couldn't find it.
  • It's easier to use and it takes less time to learn for new people
  • Easy to use AI and edit the photos quickly in the app saving time
I don't like to use templates but the Adobe Express's templates were good enough to take inspiration from and be used directly in a poster or cover photo.
In terms of ease of use, Adobe Express is really good but if anyone wants to be a professional designer, they would want more freedom to work on fonts, kerning, color, vectors and image editing. Which adobe already have softwares for but if a company can make reusable assets, any designer or non designer can use it and learn it quickly
It's easy to apply effects that are already there but if someone is used to using Canva, they can get confused and lost because both of them looks really similar but if they are trying to find editing options, it will take them time to re-adjust to Adobe Express as they are not in the same place as Canva
Adobe Express is similar in functionality with Canva, what makes it better is having an ecosystem with it's other products that sync the assets as they are built so you don't have to export and upload everything everytime which makes it faster compared to Canva

Do you think Adobe Express delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Adobe Express's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Express live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Express go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Express again?

Yes

Working with cross-functional team with designers and non designers to improve workflow in a creative workplace, I think Adobe Express can do really well there, but if a design needs to be focused on from an experience standpoint, I think other softwares such as illustrator is more suitable there in my opinion.
