Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly
We ask our creative directors and designers to think of very conceptual imagery or things that are captivating but rarely seen together. In recent years, it’s been hours of scouring the internet for the right image and then Photoshopping to create the kinds of graphics that we want to display in our presentations, so we were hopeful that AI image generation could bridge that gap and give us a quick and easy way to create the images we need. Unfortunately, the images produced by Adobe Firefly weren’t realistic enough for us to use them right away. There were glitches in the images that gave away it was AI and shattered the illusion we were aiming to build.
Pros
- Provides a lot of different styles to select from.
- Easy tools to upload reference photos or styles.
- Settings to customize the generated image without having to re-prompt the AI.
Cons
- Some glitches gave away it was AI-generated and not a real photo.
- People’s hands were messed up, faces lacked detail they needed.
- I could control the styles through the settings, but I got lackluster results when I included too many specifics in the prompt.
- Able to generate images quickly instead of searching for the right photo.
