Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly

Using firefly and Adobe Firefly within apps is amazing! I have been using it to create quick artwork for client websites, and to do quick edits on projects. It has been a real time saver. The auto generation of images and different styles you can apply are really effective.

Pros

  • Create styles images
  • Edit existing images
  • Create vector graphics

Cons

  • Outputting textual content in an image could be more effective
  • Have been able to quickly output generic art for client projects, has saved hours of time.
It’s easy to use, however, if you weren’t good at descriptive language I could see it being hard to achieve the outcome you desire. Also if you were to need something specific it’s going to be better to look in stock art/images as it would give you better search capabilities.
Adobe has the image references from Behance, so it does a better job of image creation and style replication.

When creating quick generic content for a brochure or website, or using the artwork as a placeholder when developing your own content it is really useful. I would say it’s less appropriate when you’re making photos with people’s teeth or hands. Especially hands doing complex activity. I would still recommend Adobe Firefly.
