Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly

We have used Adobe Firefly to create generic business-related graphics and photo-images to support training in the cargo terminal industry.

Pros

  • Flexible image specifications
  • Good range of image types
  • Intuitive interface.

Cons

  • Image are often not realistic enough.
  • Images do not match real world equivalents - ie front end loader does not look like a front end loader.
  • Images lack well-rendered details.
  • Often takes more time to generate a specific image than searching for equivalent stock.
  • When results are good, it's a fast solution.
  • Overall not really a time or money saver.
Inconsistent results for specific detailed requests - when it works, it's good, but it's unpredictable.
Surprisingly, I've had better results from the Photoshop AI.

Do you think Adobe Firefly delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Firefly's feature set?

No

Did Adobe Firefly live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Firefly go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Firefly again?

No

Adobe Firefly is good for simple AI images, but it often takes multiple attempts to obtain specific common images like cargo containers, to the point where I don't bother using it anymore.
