Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly

We generate images, also use generative extend in Photoshop quite a bit to fit creative outputs that the traditional photo might not be able to fill. Or if we need more copy or blank space. We also use it for ideating and storyboarding motion and other creative outputs for campaigns.

Pros

  • Image concepting
  • styles
  • creating images from references

Cons

  • when a few people are in a scene, it has troubles with the details
  • some photos look almost "painterly" vs. real-world even when that style is selected
  • Use image library to train
  • reduce photoshoots
  • reduce costs to stock licensing
  • create graphics and campaigns at scale quicker
User interface is pretty intuitive
Midjourney's photo capabilities are the best from what i've seen. Chat and Gemini are close behind.

Do you think Adobe Firefly delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Firefly's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Firefly live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Firefly go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Firefly again?

Yes

It's a great tool, some of the final outputs can't be used or will need to be taken to Photoshop for additional clean up or using Adobe Firefly within Adobe PhotoShop.

It's sometimes difficult to "clear" it's memory once it already has a style when you keep "regenerating" an image or series of images.
