Adobe's LMS is used by our company in managing the learning courses, one-on-one mentoring session. The company also used them in upscale the skills of the employees. The LMS is used mainly for Sales & Marketing Department. It only used for internal purpose. The multiple course selection helps the employees to grow own their own time limitations. The company provide reward criteria as well for completing the specific set of programs.

Pros and Cons

The easy UI helps the employees to find the related content.
The learning calender has the feature of reminding the user.
It connects with other applications like Zoom that helps in arranging the live session effectively.
It has offline access support.

It has lack of internal conferencing feature. We always use third-party application for that.
As a manager, it is hard to compile the data. Need more robust analytical dashboard.

Return on Investment

Increase the overall productivity of the employee.
The ROI is quite good but it can be improve further. Right now, company spending approx $4/month on each employee.
The employee retention is also improved because of guided learning programs in the company.

Usability

The video player and UI of the platform is top notch. The SSO feature helps in accessing the content seamlessly. If the company improve the reporting or dashboard of the platform. This can become unbeatable. The integration of inbuilt video conferencing helps the user to engage more with the software.

Ease of Integration

Adobe LMS has huge library of third-party integration. But we used limited amount of feature out of it. Integration with Zoom helps in arranging video conferencing. The outlook integration helps in blocking the calendar. Apart from that they have a huge library for Adobe products.

Moodle, Open LMS, Skype for Business and now part of Microsoft Teams

It is one-stop solution for all LMS needs. To train the employee on a regular basis we need something reliable, and good reputation.

I have been trying to explore some courses for Sales Department for grooming. And it is really easy for me to take that access. The enrollment feature helps me in discovering other departments courses and programs.

I have encountered an issue with the reporting purpose. During the employee review, I didn't able to find the time spend by the employee to complete one program. This is the flaw I have found because the learner may skip the learning lectures.
