Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Marketo Engage

Our company sends a lot of emails to a pretty robust database of contacts. Adobe Marketo Engage helps us send and segment those emails to make sure we're not overcommunicating to each individual and bombarding them with too many CTAs. Adobe Marketo Engage also helps us create landing pages and lead forms to collect customer input and route leads accordingly.

Increase demand generation and drive traffic to webpages that have lead forms featured on them to capture customer interest and route to sales. We also cross-sell to current customers of one category to try and upsell them into a new category. Aside from existing customers, our goal is to convert as many prospects as possible into our engaged audience which at least has them thinking about becoming a customer of one or more business group.
Adobe Marketo Engage better suited our needs because the out of the box product included many more features than the version of Salesforce Marketing Cloud that we were given. To compare apples to apples, we would've had to purchase a series of add-ons, which ate into our ROI so we ultimately decided to switch back to Adobe Marketo Engage.

Adobe Marketo Engage is useful for organizations that do a high volume of email marketing and lead routing/collection. It is not the cheapest solution, but is definitely the best marketing automation platform that I've used if volume is high enough. Smaller organizations can probably find a different solution to fit their needs as it would be hard to justify ROI.
