Overall Satisfaction with Adobe PhotoShop

Several individuals within our organization use PhotoShop to complete a variety of tasks. My web developers use the program to touch up, resize and manipulate photos and graphics for websites, while my designers use the program for photo editing, graphic creation and a variety of other image related tasks. Overall, we use the program multiple times a day and it is an essential part of our daily activities.
  • Easily handles import and export of multiple formats.
  • Unique tools allow creation of effects that [could] not have been possible without high-level skills.
  • Seamless transition with other Adobe programs expands capabilities tremendously.
  • Easy to use for basic tasks and easy to grow into for more complicated effects.
  • Like anything else that is highly effective, it takes some time to learn how to use it.
  • Some of the recent changes took a while to get used to after using earlier versions.
  • The new crop size and resolution fields in the top bar are sometimes confusing to use.
  • Photo editing and manipulation.
  • Photo and graphic resizing.
  • Reformatting of photos and graphics from print to web.
  • As a backend tool, there is definitely a positive benefit but it is an indirect value.
  • It helps us to complete all of our projects more easily and more efficiently.
  • Sometimes time is wasted figuring out how to use new features to complete a task.
We have always used PhotoShop and have not really tried any other similar products. Adobe PhotoShop has always been more than capable of handling any tasks we've needed to do and we know that its capabilities are far beyond what we have needed so far, so we are confident that it can handle anything we will use it for in the future.

Do you think Adobe PhotoShop delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe PhotoShop's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe PhotoShop live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe PhotoShop go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe PhotoShop again?

Yes

Obviously, PhotoShop is best for photo and graphic manipulation at basic and high levels. The tools provide a wide range of options and essentially allow you to do whatever you want to [do to] a photo if you understand how to use the right tools. Sometimes, creating vector and other graphics is possible in PhotoShop but in many cases, Adobe Illustrator is the better tool.
