Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Workfront
It is primary used for 2 purposes: project management: timeline tracking, project progress, financial impact and financial dashboards. Document uploads: approvals, reviewing, proofing. All of the above are a critical part to run several key functions withing the company, Adobe Workfront allows for streamlining of those subjects and makes the data available worldwide.
Pros
- Document managemnt
- Project management
- Document accessibility
Cons
- filters in project management are hard to understand, better UX would be welcome
- dates and contingencies are often not working properly
- can be hard to navigate multiple dashboards
- reduced labor needed to manage projects
- document approval and proofing can be tracked and nothing is missed, everything is recorded
- labor reduction needed to pull reports to show financial impact of various projects and their status
The company uses it to set up different dashboards across different product lines, within each, you have different projects running, overall, it becomes a streamlining software to allow 100s of co-current projects to be easily accessible and viewable. Document tracking, proofing, reviewing, signing-off etc., is also a key functionality that is utilized.
withing each project, a task can be easily assigned to a person that is part of the necessary team. This allows for fewer communications, as a notification is sent to the user. It allows the task assigner to add as little or as much detail as needed in regards to the task.
