Overall Satisfaction with ADP SmartCompliance

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is being used by our payroll department and payroll tax accountant. It helps with our reporting and setting up jurisdictions and keeping track of our tax liabilities. We used Ceridian tax services prior to ADP and relied on our JDE tax reports and had to do more research on line.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Ability to upload tax notices fast and know that ADP received them.
Keeps an accurate record of SUI rates and has the latest SIT income tax rates.
Provides detailed accounts of what ADP has received and rejected.
Ability to solve tax exceptions easy to do.

Cons

Communications of newest tax laws need to be brought to users attention in a better way.
Invoices need to be easier to understand and details explained in greater detail.
