Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

To conduct market research related to our business line. We look at competitor information, customer information, market trends, commodity information, region and country information, etc.
  • Clearly summarizes information
  • Breadth and depth of information
  • Accurate search results
  • earnings call transcription
  • separating notes, bookmarks, and reports saved for later. It can be confusing if you're not constantly on the platform.
  • competitor information, developments, tech, etc.
  • market data reach; the various sources, broker research, etc.
  • no tangible results as of yet.
Generally, the quality of the search results, the way the results are organized by category, and how you can include/exclude, are all very good. Other platforms have quirks, don't provide the same results, and have a different "feel" to them. There could be some improvements as the dashboard can be cluttered visually and spatially, but otherwise, it's a good platform.
One good feature of Alphasense is the ability to set notifications. Though I don't believe it's unique, this feature combined with the better quality of results from the platform makes for better awareness of the competitive landscape.
Generally, the search results are cleaner and better. The interface is a little easier, and the support is more proactive.

Would you buy AlphaSense again?

It's not always able to differentiate very well the different components of the market I operate in. It works well at a macro view, but some of the details of the research aren't always available.
