Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

AlphaSense is an excellent aggregator of information on companies from a variety of sources (i.e. financial filings, earnings transcripts, equity research, etc.). I use the platform to find quick answers on companies and industries, as well as in assisting to do deep dive research on investment opportunities.

I find the latency on searches to be very strong, especially when running searches through a broader list of many stocks on a watch list at the same time. It's also easy to navigate and search through a specific lens - i.e. can search through to a high degree of granularity from research on one broker, or just financial filings, just earnings transcripts, etc.
In this sense, Alpha Sense is very helpful in ramping up on a specific topic that we think is going to be an important investment trend. For things like "artificial intelligence," I've found it useful to zone on both specific names or broader industries to get up to speed. I've also found Alpha Sense useful to finding certain sources that I wouldn't have otherwise received via email. Finally, setting up specific alerts to get notified proactively from the platform has been helpful as well.

Great for finding a quick answer on specific information around a specific information fast. I also use this to read all transcripts. Finally, I also find Alpha Sense to be an excellent tool to take a group of companies (can set up watch lists) to search for specific keywords such as "AI," "China", etc. It is not the best place to find specific quantitative detail for company modeling. I've also seen some inaccuracies in the "GenAI Smart Summaries," so this is something to watch for and double-check manually yourself.
