Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

I primarily use it to quickly find information across company filings, equity research reports, transcripts, etc.
  • language model
  • easily see where in the documents your searched items are
  • well-rounded sources of information
  • when scrolling through the pages of a document, it takes a few seconds of buffering for each page of the document to load
  • efficiency/productivity gained
  • crucial data/strategic info found
  • broad content sources
language model is differentiated
  • much more user friendly / efficient than FactSet
  • better search functionality within equity research reports, but more buffering required versus Refinitiv Eikon

Do you think AlphaSense delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with AlphaSense's feature set?

Yes

Did AlphaSense live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of AlphaSense go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy AlphaSense again?

Yes

  • useful for targeted searches
  • less useful/differentiated if you just want to read through a document (although the green/red highlighting of positive/negative info is helpful)
