Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

AlphaSense is used by our team to do innovation discovery and occasionally for company profile reviews. As a commercial innovation team, it is important to stay on top of the latest trends and competitor activity. We use AlphaSense to understand these trends and conduct rapid analysis of emerging innovations of interest.

Sometimes I need to spend extra time finding the most useful content in AlphaSense. I wish things could be more expedited or summarized. For instance I give a few areas of interest, and AlphaSense can then summarize what I need to know in terms of new trends or activity. This would greatly enhance the UX and value of the platform.
It allows us to rapidly access interesting insights that we otherwise wouldn't uncover. There's so many sources we could look at, but often don't have the time go through everything. By using AlphaSense we monitor a few key trends our team is interested in, and with the alerts are made aware of any new developments, with the ability to dive deeper into the source materials.

AlphaSense is great for understanding an emerging trend and exploring who is doing what. I particularly find the document reviews helpful to quickly find relevant materials. However, the company profiles are a bit limited and leave some to be desired. I am also occasionally overwhelmed by the number of alerts. A synthesis of that material would be helpful.
