Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

Keeping current with news/insights about our company, our competitors, key market trends. There is so much information out there and the ability to find it easily and make sense of it is not easy to do.

Pros

  • Amazing Data Repository of documents from multiple sources
  • Leveraging new technologies to increase speed to insight
  • Constant innovation in the product/platform
  • Support team that is always available to help get the most out of the platform

Cons

  • Tiktok type learning - ability to learn new features with 30 second clips
  • More use of GenAI to distill information based on specific questions
  • increased efficiency at finding information which allows me more time to decide what to do next based on that information
  • Platform pays for itself within a few uses
  • Speed at gaining deeper competitive insights
The knowledge repository is second to none. Constantly using newer technologies like GenAI to synthesize results. Support team is extremely helpful and willing to get online and work with you to make sure you get the most out of the tool
I don't currently have access to all the sources of data and the ability to search all of it to get insights enables real-time insights that certainly keep us up to date on key trends and competitor moves
I did not do a competitive analysis of the product - was sold on it immediately

Great at leveraging financial resources from multiple sources (paid research, public information, proprietary interviews) to quick get insights into almost any topic that I have thought of so far. Would like to see it expand to more sources of data beyond financials (e.g., Gartner, IDC, Forrester) to be able to do similar analysis.
