Very good and fast if developed correctly. I have found some instability in the desktop application and the AMP engine hit or miss
We use the natural language processing and sentiment analysis and it covers what we need. We are currently investigating more use cases as we know there is a lot more there that we can utilise

Configuring Alteryx

Configurability of setup is just right
Make sure you have a server up to the job of running the workflows and throughput you are expecting.
Some - we have done small customizations to the interface - We created macro's for reusable workflows
Some - we have added small pieces of custom code - Some R and Python
