Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx

I use Alteryx for a wide range of solutions in Financial Services. In various areas of our organization, I have used Alteryx for reconciliation, data quality, metadata, and reporting, but the area that Alteryx really excels is in dynamic workflow automation. We can create and schedule workflows to run regularly and then move on to other projects confident that our automation will run as expected.
  • Schedule workflows to run on Alteryx Server with and/or without user interaction
  • Send emails with workflow results
  • Receive notification of processes that completed and any processes that didn't run successfully
  • Interactive dashboards for user interaction
  • Alteryx helps me automate my work so I can move on to other projects that require my attention.

In my organization, we regularly create workbooks and duplicate workbooks to show various versions of analyses. This creates a lot of redundant files and can oftentimes break links in workbooks and lead to manual errors being performed. Alteryx prevents all of this by allowing users to create automated workflows that perform the same - or dynamic, if needed - tasks that users might perform on a regular basis.

Alteryx Support

It is important to keep separate the support for Alteryx that we have internally at our organization and the support for Alteryx that we receive from Alteryx directly. The support we receive from Alteryx directly has been great; we have a team of people we are able to meet with regularly who lead sessions for our organization and help to keep us informed of upcoming features and events.

Using Alteryx

Alteryx has a ton of tools embedded in the application. There is also a great community of supporters to help answer questions and train on features. My favorite part of the community is Alteryx Academy - completely free to users or anyone interested in learning more - that allows for in-depth training and Weekly Challenges!
