Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx

I use Alteryx daily for data prep, formatting, reporting for end users, outlier identification, trend analysis, and as a data feed for our Spotfire and Tableau dashboards. Our Alteryx workflows scheduled on the Server connect to Snowflake and generate recurring output without any manual intervention.

I learned Alteryx quickly on my own, using the free online training resources like Learning Paths and Interactive Lessons. And the Alteryx Community is a great resource for specific workflow development questions. Within a few hours after first opening Alteryx, I was able to complete basic data wrangling tasks, and share output with other employees using Excel, for further analysis.
Alteryx low-code/no-code workflow development, and the ability to view my data at every step, immediately improved my development time by at least 60%. Highbond (formerly Galvanize / ACL) relies on a proprietary ACL script coding language, which can be time-consuming to master. Highbond does have a ScriptHub resource, but understanding the coding language can be challenging for less technical users.

Quick results: initial Alteryx workflow development has a very low learning curve. I was able to quickly get up-to-speed using the free online training resources.

Macros and server use can be challenging. But those are advanced topics.

Basic support has met all of our needs. The Alteryx support team is very knowledgeable, and continues to work with us throughout the most complex issues.
Yes - Once a defect is identified, there doesn't seem to be visibility to the resolution status.
When we had challenges with the new AMP engine, one of the Product Managers personally helped us research several issues and identify workarounds, and worked with us through their support team.

Alteryx Reliability

Individual analysts can quickly generate results using their own copy of Alteryx Designer. But using the Server and developing macros for more complex needs can be time consuming.
Alteryx has very few bugs. The software is well-designed and well-tested before release.
