We were able to address the material weakness of the organization which was challenged by the external auditor on our legacy applications,Alteryx provided a quick let solution with its analytics and data management capabilities in lesser time
Pros
- Working with heterogeneous data
- Processing speed on huge volume of data
- Reconciliation and automation made easy
Cons
- Save & export feature — lot of times our team just save the workflow while it has to be exported to save those changes.
- Non-support of workflows that are created in older version
- Compliance which is one of the pillar of financial organization has been achieved by using Alteryx
- People got up skilled to new technology and product owners shifted the gear from legacy to data lake
Datastage we have used in similar lines but mostly towards ETL implementation
