Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx

We use Alteryx Connect within our organization in order to prepare web analytics data for use in dashboard reports. Alteryx Connect is very good at handling the massive amounts of web data we receive. It excels at preparing this data for import into our data environment for reporting. Alteryx Connect is currently in use by only one department within my organization.
  • Alteryx Connect is particularly well suited for preparing data for use in Tableau
  • Alteryx Connect is very straightforward in design, making it easy to learn and use
  • Alteryx Connect is well-supported both by the vendor and by online forums
  • Alteryx is not very budget friendly. Be prepared to make a significant investment
  • Although the online forums provide good support, the trainers tend to rush through the sessions
  • The support of complex data joins should be improved
  • It is honestly too early in our usage of this product to provide any accurate ROI
  • To date, Alteryx Connect has enabled us to speed creation and implementation of many new ETL processes
We selected Alteryx Connect for a very specific need, and therefore did not consider any alternatives
Alteryx Connect is well-suited for data cleaning and data preparation. Alteryx Connect is particularly well-suited for teams who want/need to speed-up the development and implementation of the entire ETL process.

Alteryx Connect is less appropriate for a well-established team of data analysts and developers, as it might be considered "overkill". Also, Alteryx Connect is not well-suited for the organization with a tight budget.
