Evaluating Anaplan and Competitors
Yes - Anaplan replaced Oracle as the leading solution for our clients for planning analytics capabilities.
- Product Features
- Product Usability
- Product Reputation
Anaplan can service multiple business functions within the context of connected planning. By being able to serve multiple capabilities within a single code base and model, it is value accretive not only from time savings on efficiency within teams, but provides significant intangible ROI from the perspective of information made available across business users.
Many of the considerations that we look at includes usability related to our current business users' expectations for Excel like functionality. A better selection process would consider how business process can be made more efficient, how collaboration can be developed within the solution, how we can scale to self-own our solutions, and expand our ROI of the tool by allowing for scalability to not only mean the model growing, but value being added for new use.
