Overall Satisfaction with Apple Numbers
My organization uses Apple Numbers for reporting, tracking and staying organized in day to day operations. I manage all content for the rev org, and I export reports to Apple Numbers to get informed on how that content is doing and what needs to be actioned. By creating filters I am early able to organize crucial information in a matter of seconds and follow up with each individual in a timely manor to make sure our content is in the best state possible.
Pros
- Filtering lots of information
- Mathematic equations
- Minimalistic look and feel that is easy to understand
Cons
- Doesn’t have all the bells and whistles as excel.
- Sometimes you have to save it in a different format for others to view
- Could include more options on the menu bar rather than clicking on some of the drop downs.
- Improved tracking of kpis
- Saved time reporting
- Helped the team and sub teams stay organized and work efficiently
I would say excel is top tier, but you are going to pay a premium price for it. A small step down is a price savings and two tools that are really similar: Google Sheets and Apple Numbers. If I had to pick one I would pick sheets as it is easier to collaborate with. For users who are always in spreadsheet excl is the clear winner due to the features and usability. Next I would rank sheets for the collaboration. And still great but last compared to the other two is Numbers.
