Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
I use Articulate 360 as a suite of eLearning applications - formerly Articulate Storyline and Articulate Studio - as of November 2016. The new integration of the product is outstanding and provides designers, like myself, with the ability to not only upload PowerPoint materials into a SCORM-compliant LMS, but to develop from-scratch eLearning titles with a similar look and feel. The integration makes branding a snap and the extensive Content library is best in class. I now use Articulate 360 for all of my instructional design projects - and I have eliminated the problems associated with Captivate for my LMS (publishing and the poor performance of third-party widgets).
- Mobile deployment
- Massive character content library, with diverse characters and a host of medical characters (great for my client base - healthcare)
- Simple, clean trigger and control options - no more Action Script
- All that's missing is a full-blown photo editor (that would make this a one-stop product)
- Too early to tell (it's a new suite of products with the 360 version), but my ROI on Storyline and Studio was outstanding and easily met in one quarter of business
No comparison - Captivate is clunky, difficult to master, action script-heavy and lacking in the dynamics and organic UI that Storyline (now Articulate 360) is known for.
