Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
I am a talent and development program manager in a global corporation. I am primarily responsible for delivering and designing training for mobile facilities maintenance technicians who work on phones or tablets to complete training. 360's flexibility and responsive designs make this an easier lift when bespoke courses are required, yet also offers the ability to fully customize training in ways that, while they may take more time, allow us to truly customize learning experiences.
Pros
- Course creation
- Interactivity
- Visual Design
Cons
- The PowerPoint style can be somewhat limiting for users without the time or experience necessary when it comes to customized or more complicated interactions
- Rise solves for much of the time consuming needs of traditional design, but can be limiting in creativity
- The default end-user interface for Rise doesn't translate well to older employees who tend to prefer slide-based, PowerPoint-style learning
- Decreased training costs
- Improved ability to provide custom training on company-specific services or products
- ROI
I am most well-versed in Storyline with some experience in Rise and Reach. I have used Storyline to create many in-depth courses and facilitate course reviews. I have used Rise to a lesser extent, but mostly as a quick turn-around option when more immediate intervention is required. We are currently exploring Reach to facilitate training of client personnel and on-site vendors/partners.
No experience with the AI tool at this time, but I anticipate future use primarily for creation of knowledge checks and assessments.
I think they are all comparable, however articulate is easier to onboard. It also seems that Articulate is innovating in the way business need.
