Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

Tried and true authoring platform. Our company uses this largely with our W-2 Employees to deploy onboarding and new hire learning experiences-- annually 2000+ employees. Clean navigation, sound design, simple, easy to use and largely intuitive when it comes to Rise. The microlearning authoring feature uses all the power of a classic Rise course but or simpler navigation.

Pros

  • Varied interactions and activities that you can easily scale in difficulty
  • The microlearning feature is exciting, love the direct that's moving toward more mobbile authoring and learner experience

Cons

  • Storyline is powerful. We've gotta get away from a windows only experience. Seems Crazy that we're still dying on this hill.
  • More customization as far as backgrounds and the navigation for micro learning and mobile first audiences
  • Accessibility
  • consistency
We largely only use RISE as the LMS is a new feature and it's not included for our users count. We'd love to use more of storyline but the fact that it's windows only is a roadblock for many of our designers.
I'm a quality over speed person. But if we can get to higher quality products faster, then let's go. AI needs to help innovate not just regurgitate so I think Articulate 360's AI is on it's way to being a highly impactful tool.
Simple UX for RISE and review and reach. Story line is it's own critter, but as i've said learning design professionals are leaning more and more into the creative realm and so becoming iOS friendly would I think greatly expand Storyline's current and future impact.

Do you think Articulate 360 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Articulate 360's feature set?

Yes

Did Articulate 360 live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Articulate 360 go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Articulate 360 again?

Yes

Well suited for desktop employees for longer form courses and for audiences who are ready to read-- as a course it's going to generally largely involve text and reading. If courses are kept short then I think it makes sense for microlearning or mobile learning experiences.
