Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We use Articulate 360 to create courses and job aids for our Members. We use storyline to create many software interactives as well as training interactives. We also use rise to create full coursework and also house videos for our LMS. In addition, we also use storyline to create software interactives that we post directly on our wiki site for customer service use.

Pros

  • Creates interactive experiences.
  • Accurately displays how our software works and allows our members to use the software and a safe environment.
  • Is easy to pick up and train new staff to use.

Cons

  • I would like to see a little more customization on the blocks available in rise.
  • I would like for the storyline elements embedded in rise to be updated when the storyline file is updated in Articulate 360 review.
  • The micro learning format and rise is sometimes difficult for our members to pick up as far as navigation goes.
  • It allows our members to practice with our software in a safe environment.
  • It helps us to bring our members up to speed on new features and be able to see how they will affect their customers.
  • With the new AI feature in rise, I have found that creating courses is faster than ever. Which helps to reduce the overall cost.
I truly enjoy creating interactives in storyline and then embedding them into full courses in rise. We do not have too many training resources that are developed and published in our LMS as storyline only content. In fact, we only have one particular training course that is storyline only. I greatly enjoy using all of Articulate 360's products, although I did not find the reach product to be exactly as I had anticipated it.
I can absolutely vouch for the increase in speed of creating courses using Articulate 360's AI features. I found it helped me to quickly reduce the amount of words in lengthy paragraphs and also help in quickly populating text into rise blocks. I enjoyed using many of the features so much that I was very excited when we decided to purchase the additional AI licenses.
I honestly feel as though you can do anything in storyline as long as you put your mind to it. Sometimes I feel as though I fight a few spacing and formatting issues inside of storyline but other than that I have found it to be extremely user friendly and powerful! I also enjoy creating coursework in rise as well, but I feel as though some features such as the process would benefit from being more generic instead of having the numbered sequence constantly.

I feel as though it's easy for people to pick up the basics in Articulate 360. And I also feel that the Articulate 360 e-heroes is a fantastic and supportive community that helps people to learn how to best use the products as well. In addition, the new AI features are outstanding! They help to create course outlines, and also help to improve the text, as well as create images for use directly inside of rise.
