A great system that lets you get as complex as you want - or keep it simple
Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
We have an in-house instructional designer now, but for years I used Articulate 360 as a hybrid ID/LMS Administrator. It was pretty quick to pick up, and then there was a lot of optional deep diving to enhance content development. So I could make basic content right away, but also continue to learn and grow with the program. The Challenges and online forum were incredibly useful learning tools during this time, and I love dropping by the new challenges to see what people are up to!
Pros
- Easy to learn
- Lots of continued skills to keep building on
- Forum support and community
Cons
- Random bugs that require pages to be rebuilt, especially for advanced functions
- Sometimes older files become corrupted and are lost
- Reduced time for content creation (Rise)
- Increased accessibility funcitonality
We use Rise and Storyline pretty much exclusively. We have occasionally branched out to editing and quiz tools, but found that R & S can do really everything we need, especially as we develop our own custom templates and style guide.
Have not used this feature yet. Our ID is testing it out!
