Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We use Articulate Storyline and Rise for most of our eLearning solutions. We are a company of 40,000 employees globally. Our needs range from HR and compliance to engineering and technical training, and we also have employees that speak many different languages. Articulate 360 helps us keep employees up to date on protocols, procedures, and important information.

Pros

  • ELearning development
  • Design and branding
  • Sharing and collaborating

Cons

  • Storyline can be very clunky and can throw a lot of corruptions and errors.
  • The fact that you cannot directly edit Rise trainings while in the Review 360 window is insanely frustrating. It is also difficult that reviewers cannot directly highlight what they are referencing.
  • Rise is still very cookie cutter with limited customization.
  • Fast elearning development
  • Scalable, generally
We use Rise and Storyline and Review. Review still leaves a lot to be desired on the ends of reviewers and editors.
I haven’t gotten to use it yet.
It takes some time to learn, and there are still many features that are lacking or frustrating.
Mighty runs circles around Rise’s native editor, and it’s frankly kind of embarrassing for Articulate that they created a gap in the market for a product like Mighty to thrive.

Do you think Articulate 360 delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Articulate 360's feature set?

No

Did Articulate 360 live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Articulate 360 go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Articulate 360 again?

Yes

It’s well-suited because it’s the industry standard. As far as if it deserves that designation, I’m honestly not sure. If you know how to use it, you can generally get the job done of what you’re trying to do, but Storyline isn’t the easiest tool in the world to learn. I believe competitors are going to start to outpace Articulate in the coming years.
