Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

I use Articulate 360 to create online training modules for employees. Employees need easy access to training on our LMS. Articulate 360 allows us to update courses quickly. The courses are professional looking and Rise provides professional sounding voice over that is built into Rise and Storyline. Articulate 360 also provides AI features to speed up production of the course and a great stock photo library.

Pros

Cons

  • Need to improve focus order in Rise custom blocks to delete unecessary items for ADA compliance
  • Sometimes the AI assistant doesn't always get things right on first try
  • Sometimes text to speech needs to be redone to get pronunciations right.
  • We have the potential to use the built in text to speech voice over and not spend extra money on professional voice over.
  • It saves time by using built in interactions and the media library.
  • Courses are pretty easy to make accessible.
Customized Storyline interactions can be imported into Rise to create a customized look. AI assistant can be used to create interactions quickly instead of starting from scratch each time. The new customized blocks give Rise and fresh new look and increase learner engagement. The Review tool makes it easy for SMEs to provide feedback on the course.
The AI assistant allows you to paste in content and arrange it in a professional looking interaction. The AI assistant saves time creating the interactions. It can also enhance the content if needed by providing more context. The AI assistant creates high quality, professional looking interactions in a speedy manner.
Articulate 360 is easy to learn and use. There are plenty of tutorials and resources available to learn how to use the tools.
Articulate 360 is very easy to use and can create a variety of different media and interactive activities - more than Camtasia. Camtasia is very video centered. Articulate 360 can use video but it can also use still photos, audio, interactive content, and allows users to go through courses in different, non-linear ways.

Articulate 360 is great for online courses, courses for an LMS, courses that use media, text to speech audio, interactive items. Courses can be translated into other languages quickly. You can bring in outside media into the course pretty easily. The layouts are professional looking and blocks can be copied easily and repeated as needed.
