Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
Articulate Storyline is a very powerful tool that can be efficiently used for building simulations, trainings, especially more complex ones, where you need to use branching scenarios and variables. It's suitable for both internal capability building and client projects. Articulate Storyline offers a good balance whenever you need to create a more complex training but still want to do it rather quickly.
Pros
- Complex branched scenarios in e-learning modules
- Variables for personalization of user experience
- Relatively easy to use thanks to similar UX to PowerPoint
Cons
- Bigger bank of stock characters, images, videos, etc.
- The way default clickable pins look is a bit old-fashioned
- If you build more than 1 training in Storyline it should already be more value than the cost of 1 license
Articulate Storyline is much easier to use and has a much more modern User Interface and overall User Experience than Adobe Captivate. If someone already has experience using the Adobe products, they can achieve very similiar results in both, but I'd recommend Articulate Storyline. It also seems to have a more active user community.
